Mrs. Harvey thought that seatbelts would make wonderful material for a purse, and the Harveys seatbelt purse was born. Since both spouses contributed to this idea, the product name indicates it was a joint effort. And as it turns out, the durability and toughness of seatbelt fabric is ideal for a handbag, sure to stand up to months, or even years, of use and wear.
